THE WADDELL REALTY CONNECTION
"Simply The Best!"
THINKING OF A CAREER IN REAL ESTATE?
Do you have a burning desire for success? Are you a team player? Are you self-motivated? Are you eager to learn? Do you enjoy helping others? If your answers are "yes", then Real Estate may be the right career for you!
Real Estate sales can be a very rewarding and exciting career. Knowing you are providing a service that involves, in many cases, assisting someone in making the largest financial investment of their lifetime, along with selecting a home for themselves and their family, can result in tremendous satisfaction and life-long relationships.
To become successful in Real Estate, you must possess ambition, dependability, energy, honesty, integrity, and above all, a desire to help others. You should be a self-starter and eager to learn, and be willing to work unusual hours.
Why would you choose a career in Real Estate? As a Real Estate professional, you are your own "boss". You determine your own hours and set your own goals. Your monetary rewards are unlimited, determined only by your personal efforts. Your degree of success is directly related to your degree of commitment.
In order to become a Real Estate professional, you must obtain a license from the state in which you plan to do business. In Georgia, you must successfully complete a 75-hour pre-licensing course and pass the state examination with a minimum score of 75%. You are required to complete a 25-hour post license course within one year of initial licensure. In order to retain your license, you must complete 24 hours of continuing education during each four year renewal period.
Newly licensed Real Estate agents must place their license with a qualified Broker. Most brokerage firms treat their real estate associates as "independent contractors" and retain a portion of the agents' commission in exchange for providing such things as office space, telephone, clerical support, forms, and other related services.
Waddell Realty's School of Real Estate provides online pre-license and post-license courses, as well as classroom and online continuing education as required by the State of Georgia, along with numerous other courses.
